What is Minecraft dungeons?
An isometric action-RPG set in Minecraft’s world, built by Mojang using Unreal Engine 4. It’s partly inspired by Diablo 3 and other “classic dungeon crawlers,” and has a heavy emphasis on loot and combat. You will gear up your characters. You’ll fight above and below ground across multiple biomes.
How to find dungeons in Minecraft
There are some conditions that space must meet for the dungeon to be created. The most important of these is that the dungeon must be near, near, or inside a cave.
A dungeon can really come into being if the floors are solid. The ceiling should also be solid, but blocks such as sand and gravel can still be used. Then the walls must have at least 1 opening or more. If all those conditions are met, there is a chance for the dungeon to spawn in the area.
The dungeon is a small building made of cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. If the torches are not placed correctly in the middle of the room, a mob creator will spawn some gangs indefinitely. There can be up to 2 chests that spawn in the small room. What makes the dungeons so enticing is the loot found in the chests.
Due to the nature of dungeons spawning near surfaces sometimes, searching around a sandy biome can be a fast way to find them as well. It was mentioned before that the ceiling only needs to be solid but the blocks can be sand or gravel that falls. If a cave spawned in the desert, a caved-in ground can be a giveaway.
